I finally decided to get some traffic for one of my sites. Doing the regular thing of writing content was just not cutting it. I wanted more traffic and I didn't want to wait a long time to get it.
I had noticed a vendor in one of the affiliate networks that I participate in and decided to give them a try. Why try one of these traffic sources? The main reason was the traffic was really cheap.
They had a really low price for a good amount of traffic, so I gave it a try. Right after I signed up and put my money on the table, I checked around to see what other people were saying about the company.
The comments were not really that good. People were saying that they paid the money and got traffic, but the traffic was worthless. They also talked about getting billed even after they decided to stop using the service. This was kind of concerning, but the transaction was already started. I just had to see if the problems would occur.
After a few days, the web traffic started to show up. The only thing is that none of the visits resulted in any kind of conversions. It just looks like I got a lot of web page impressions.
There was still a benefit to getting traffic coming to the site. The traffic seemed to get me more offers for new affiliate partners. I logged into my account and started seeing new vendors ready to approve me.
You have to keep looking for new traffic sources and give them a try. The traffic was not targeted. Some online comments claimed that it was really just bot traffic. Either way, you have to move forward with getting more traffic and you have to make investments. I guess you could look at it as a cheap way to get access to more affiliate offers.
