Building sites is super easy with all the tools that are available.  Getting a site on the web is so simple that everyone is doing it.  Things brings in a big problem.  With all the people getting online to make sites, the competition for generating traffic is going to get tougher.

The idea of getting traffic coming to the site might not be the first thing on the mind.  Just focusing on making a site look good could be the topic priority.  The question of how to bring in traffic to the website might not show up until much later on.

What is going to be the focus for getting more website traffic?  The simple idea of creating more content is one that is generally talked about.  This seems like a great idea when you think about it.  The news is always changing and the need for more fresh content is always another chance to connect with readers.

Another place for finding information online is social media.  Have you ever clicked on social media links?  It could easily happen while on twitter or facebook.  These are not the only places to consider when thinking about social media.  Pinterest and other social media accounts like instagram and snapchat could be new playing grounds for generating traffic.

Paying for traffic is always another option for getting traffic coming into a site.  What is going to be the trade off?  Are you going to pay the money to get the traffic?  Are you going to spend hour after hour trying to create content that pulls in traffic in the future?  The website owners have to think about the decision.  Time could be a big factor.  Do you have the time to wait for search engine traffic to show up in the future?  Would you like to target specific audiences with paid traffic sources?  The large numbers of social media users might be an attractive option for finding the types of audiences that are of interest.
